Getting to St Andrews

The nearest international airport is Edinburgh (EDI).

You can take the ScotRail train from Edinburgh to Leuchars. From there, hop on one of the frequent buses (numbers 77 or 99) to St Andrews town centre.

The 95 bus is the main link from St Andrews town centre to the venue and comes once an hour.

• The majority of local buses take contactless card payment.

• Trains can be booked via a terminal at the station or online through a train app.

Booking your room with registration

For ‘early bird’ registrations made on or before 16 August, you can book a room at the Fairmont St Andrews hotel at a discounted rate as part of the registration process.

After 16 August, you will need to book accommodation directly with the hotel. The discounted fee is £180/night including breakfast if booked before 8 September (subject to availability – rooms may not be available if booked after 16 August): please remember to mention that you are attending ICUIL 2026 to obtain this discount.
